Funding Amount: $335 Million

Rokt, a NYC-based company which specializes in ecommerce, closed its secondary funding, increasing its valuation to US$ 3.5 Billion. The company signed a stock purchase agreement for ~US$335M with investors including Tiger Global Management, Square Peg, Barrenjoey and SecondQuarter. Anita Sands, Ph.D., joined Rokt’s Board of Directors.

Truveta, a Bellevue, Wash., health data platform thats building a genetics database, raised $320m at more than a $1b valuation from Regeneron, Illumina and 17 U.S. health systems.

The round was led by Redmile Group, with participation from existing investors Wellington Management, TPG Life Sciences Innovation, Fidelity Management & Research Company, Action Potential Venture Capital, and funds and accounts advised by T. Rowe Price Associates, Inc. New investor Piper Heartland Healthcare Capital also participated.

Existing investors 8VC and Mosaic Ventures also participated. As part of the financing, Battery Partner Marcus Ryu, the former co-founder and CEO of Guidewire Software, joined Coram’s board.

Funding Amount: $2 Million

Cyclic Materials, a Toronto, Canada-based recycling company building a circular supply chain for Rare Earth Elements and other critical materials, received $2M from InMotion Ventures. This latest funding brought the company’s Series B round to $55m. The company intends to use the funds to support the opening of its first commercial facilities in the US and Europe
