Chaos Industries, a Los Angeles, CA-based technology company building the next generation of defense and national security systems, raised $275M in Series C funding. The round, which brought total funding raised to date to $490M, was led by New Enterprise Associates (NEA) and co-led by Accel, with participation from StepStone Group, Overmatch Ventures, Tru Arrow Partners, and Valor Equity Partners.

Harvey, an SF-based legal AI startup, is in talks to raise $250m at a $5b valuation co-led by Kleiner Perkins and Coatue, per Reuters. This is just months after a Sequoia-led round at a $3b valuation.

Funding Amount: $150 Million

ZeroAvia, a Hollister, Calif., developer of hydrogen-powered airplane engines, is seeking to raise $150m in Series D funding, per Bloomberg. Last year it raised that amount in Series C funding from Scottish National Investment Bank, Airbus, Barclays Sustainable Impact Capital and Saudi Arabias NEOM Investment Fund.

Funding Amount: $130 Million

NewLimit, a South San Francisco, CA-based developer of medicines that add healthy years to each human life, raised a $130m Series B funding round. The round was led by Kleiner Perkins alongside new investors Nat Friedman/Daniel Gross, Khosla Ventures, Human Capital, and Valor Equity Partners — joined by existing investors Dimension, Founders Fund, Brian Armstrong, John and Patrick Collison, Fred Ehrsam, Elad Gil, Joshua Kushner, Joe Lonsdale, and Garry Tan.
