Funding Amount: $640 Million

Groq, a Mountain View, Calif.-based AI chipmaker, raised $640m in Series D funding at a $2.8b valuation. BlackRock funds led, and was joined by Neuberger Berman, Type One Ventures, Cisco, KDDI, and Samsung Catalyst Fund.

Astranis

Funding Amount: $200 Million

Astranis, a San Francisco, CA-based geostationary satellite maker, raised $200m in Series D funding. The round was led by a16z and BAM Elevate, with participation from Blackrock, Fidelity and Baillie Gifford also participating. This brought the total capital raised to $750m.

Flo Health

Funding Amount: $200 Million

Flo Health, a London, UK-based women’s health app provider, raised more than $200M in Series C funding. The investment, which brought Flo’s valuation beyond $1 billion, was made by General Atlantic. As part of the transaction, Tanzeen Syed, Managing Director and Head of Consumer Internet and Technology at General Atlantic, and Jessie Cai, will join Flo’s Board of Directors.

IDRx, a Plymouth, MA-based clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company, raised $120M in Series B funding.The round was led by RA Capital Management, Commodore Capital, and Blackstone Multi-Asset Investing with additional new investors, including Rock Springs Capital and a U.S.-based healthcare-focused fund. Existing investors, including Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) Bio + Health, Casdin Capital, Nextech Invest Ltd. (on behalf of one or more funds managed by it), Forge Life Science Partners, co-founder Nick Lydon, Ph.D., and strategic partner Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany also participated.

Gloo, a Boulder, CO-based technology platform dedicated to connecting the faith ecosystem and releasing its collective might, closed a $110m financing. The company intends to use the funds to accelerate development of the platform.

Thumbtack, a San Francisco, CA-based technology company enabling people to improve their homes, received $75m in financing. Silicon Valley Bank (SVB), a division of First Citizens Bank, and Hercules Capital, Inc. (NYSE: HTGC) provided the debt facility.

Funding Amount: $60 Million

TS Conductor, a Huntington Beach, CA-based manufacturer of advanced electric power lines, closed a $60m growth funding round. The round was led by Wellington Management, joined by Quanta Services, Gates Frontier, Energy & Environment Investment, Inc., Blue Earth Capital, and Edison International, and repeat investors National Grid Partners, Breakthrough Energy Ventures, and a subsidiary of NextEra Energy Resources.

The round, which brought total funding raised to over $90m, was led by NightDragon, with participation from Bluestone Equity Partners, and existing investors Caden Capital, Cota Capital, Tru Arrow Partners, and Uncorrelated Ventures. NightDragon Managing Director Morgan Kyauk will join the Rhombus Board of Directors.

Level AI, a Mountain View, CA-based innovator in LLM-native customer experience intelligence and the service automation space, raised $39.4M in Series C funding.The round, which brought the total amount to $73.1M, was led by Adams Street Partners, with additional investment from Cross Creek, Brightloop, many CX leaders, and participation from existing investors including Battery Ventures and Eniac Ventures.

Peter Hébert, Co-founder and Managing Partner at Lux Capital, will be joining Perchwell’s board of directors.
